Cherry Blossoms at the Capital

The Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC commemorates the gift of approximately 3,000 cherry trees from the mayor of Tokyo to the United States in 1912. Head to the Tidal Basin for the perfect view, and take in the blossoms while surrounded by the Jefferson Memorial and Washington Monument in the background.
